Oh it's some kind of unwritten law that the announcers have to mention Bret Hart once a year in any capicity both negitive or positive.

I read on wrestlezone.com a while back that Bret would be meeing back with the WWF in May about his video library. Strangely there is another Canadian tour in May. I wonder how true this could be.

Maybe Owen or Helen will tell Bret to take the deal tonight on that "talking to the dead" show....

Bret and the WWF couldn't come to an agreement on anything re: video rights, coming back, whatever.

And the psychic thing was filmed a few months back, so one assumes Bret's stopped communing with the Angels for the moment. Perhaps Owen told him to get over it already.

If I'm not mistaken, the King was going on about Angle being an Olympic gold medalist near the start of the Edge/Angle match, and asking what Canada knew about the Olympics.. "What Canadian Olympians have there ever been, JR?" JR got flustered not being able to name any, so I think he threw out Bret Hart. The King just laughed that off, and nominated Ben Johnson, which got them sidetracked again.. but JR, Bret Hart as an Olympic wrestler? Umm..

I don't know if I'll watch this thing. It's painful to see Bret slowly but surely sink into the depths of insanity and delusion like this.

EDIT:

Wow. I caught a glimpse of that seance or whatever the hell it is and Bret looks mighty HAGGERED. Hairs thinning and he LOOKS like he's 44. This is the guy who practically DID NOT age AT ALL in his entire WWF career.

*sigh* :(

Stu never actually wrestled in the olympics but I think he was either a coach for the canadian team or got a team started way back when he was young.

They should hire that girl who was training to be a wrestler in Calgary who was at the olympics this year at the skeleton. Even though she totally chocked
