I rarely feel compelled to bash an internet wrestling site, much like PWInsider since we see them miscontsrue things often to get a few extra hits to their site with stuff like this. Considering you're reading this before Smackdown and WWE updates their main page, you can see the "mystery images" here:

It's the usual wrestler silhouettes. YES, if you read the spoilers and knew (two wrestlers' names here) were getting drafted tonight, then you could look at those and say "yeah, that's totally (so and so)!". But if you don't know, why would you be analyzing silhouettes anyway?

I just found this stupid, yet hilarious at the same time.

Apparently, it has become pwinsider's goal in life to pick on & scrutinize WWE.com as often as possible.

  • "WWE.com misspells so-and-so's hometown! How is this company still in business!?"

  • "WWE.com posts line up of October 17 houseshow in Suffield, CT, thus giving away results of tomorrow's PPV! How a publically traded company can continually let something like that slip is beyond me!!"

    On a slow news day, the local news gives you insprational profiles of middle school dodgeball teams, and pwinsider pickes on WWE.com. Oh brother already.

    One of the silhouettes does look right, but you can't really tell who the other one is just by the silouette, besides, most of us found out Monday night who the final 2 lottery picks were anyways...

    Wow, PWInsider sinks to new lows. I guess I could see it, knowing who it was, but there is almost no way I'd be able to figure it out otherwise.

    I stopped going to PWInsider a long time ago because a) they never have any real news and b) they bash every single thing WWE does and constantly talk about things like how unprofessional wwe.com (which is funny becuase they aren't the site that gives you spyware and viruses). It's a real testament to how poor wrestling "journalism" when Scherer and company are probably the number three group covering WWE.

    I read the spoilers, I know who's getting drafted, and I don't think those silhouettes look anything like either of them. They're generic "mystery man" silhouettes.

    If you really, REALLY didn't want to know who the final two guys were, you probably wouldn't be looking too closely at silhouette images on WWE's web site. And I'm guessing many would have already read the spoilers (again, just generalizing).

    But totally agreed on pwinsider. Don't they have anything better to do than expose every last flub as if it was Watergate or something?

    Thank goodness the Dirtsheet Army as we know it now didn't exist in Fall 1991, or the the jig would have TOTALLY been up on that Mr. Madness guy. :)

    As opposed to the Mystery Partners on last Monday's Raw, where they couldn't have picked more obvious silhouettes.

    I disagree. I specifically tried to figure out the guys by looking at the silhouette. I couldn't make any determination on either of them.

    The silhouette I could always figure out was Stacy Keibler and that was because...oh never mind.
