| #1 Posted on 19.4.02 1448.20 Reposted on: 19.4.09 1449.18 | So is this title going to be defended more than once a month? Will the winner of Austin/Taker fight the winner of H/H on Monday, or do we have to wait another month for a title match? Having the title defended once a month seems to make the number one contendership seem a lot more important, but that's really about it. Maybe this has already been addressed and I missed it, but everyone seems to be under the impression that the winner of Austin/Taker goes on to the next ppv. Promote this thread! | | AWArulz

I'm sure they're still figuring this deal out. I hope that's not going to be the case, because I want to see title matches, preferably on both Raw and Smackdown.
It might be interesting to see HH win and see how long VKM keeps the strap on him after reactions at the houses. But I suspect we'll see HH talk and Austin talk and underbiker talk and RVD wrestle.

As long as the title's defended at least once a month, I've got no problem with it personally. And in the interim, the champ's out cutting promos, running the occasional non-title match or tag-team match, and staying in the spotlight. I've got no problem with that.
It's when the champ wins the belt and disappears for a few months, returning and still being champion, that I get pissed. That's why I used to loathe Hulk Hogan. | J. Kyle

I always prefered the fighting champion. I really enjoyed Triple H's title reign when he wanted to prove he was that damn good and fought all commers, Taz, TAKA, whoever. | ALL ORIGINAL POSTS IN THIS THREAD ARE NOW AVAILABLE |
