DAMN YOU DISNEY! You go and do the right thing by Narnia, but then you go a effectivly kill any chance of my wanting to see UNDERDOG. It'll be live action and instead of him BEING a shoeshine boy, talking dog; he'll just be NAMED 'Shoeshine' yet STILL be Underdog. CRAP!
American McGee's ALICE is being made into a movie. Sarah Michelle Gellar is signed on to play an older Alice than in the game however... I fear Uwe Boll being announced as director isn't far behind.
Well, I like them anyway. There's a third RESIDENT EVIL film getting made titled RESIDENT EVIL: AFTERLIFE. Mila Jovovich is returning and Paul W.S. Anderson is writing.
NATIONAL TREASURE 2 is a go. Nic Cage is returning along with director Jon Turteltaub from the first one. Perhaps they'll correct that HUGE mistake from the first film and have him going off a map from one of the other TWO original copies of the Declaration.
The script is done and SPEED RACER is set to start shooting early next year... sadly, Vince Vaughn is signed up to play Racer X, which will suck ass.
Hugh Jackman is not only gonna be a producer for X-Men 3, he's wanting his role scaled DOWN to allow other characters more screen time. Then again, this might also be because he's finally signed a deal to star and produce in a WOLVERINE solo film, set to start filming right after X3 is complete.
Disney has also announced they they'll go ahead with TOY TORY 3 with or without Pixar. It'll be in theatres summer 2008.

Originally posted by Big BadHave Hanks and Allen been signed for Toy Story 3? Since you would think that their participation would be a bigger stumbling block than even Pixar.
Hanks (and on a lesser note, John Ratzenberger) have made it clear that they want nothing to do with a Toy Story movie that doesn't involve Pixar. (The latter also has conflicts with his Papal responsibilities.) There's no official word on Allen, but since Disney bought the rights to his life back around 1995, he'll be led out of his room and into the recording studio for sure.

American McGee's Alice, eh? I was really psyched about a possible movie for that, like six years ago. It's not like anyone actually bought the game though, so they didn't really lose any potential audience there.
