Michelle Rodriguez is joining the cast for season 2. She was seen in the bar with Jack during a flashback sequence in the finale.

The article also gives some scenarios for Season 2, as well as a possible cast member being unhappy with their contract.

I assume we've all heard the Samuel L. Jackson rumors (tvgasm.com).

Yeah yeah, I know it has been officially denied by ABC, but THAT would be some sweet season premiere stunt-casting.

Michelle Rodriguez actually looked good and showed some charisma in her scene with Jack. I have never been a fan - my joke about her has always been to express every facial expression she has in a Rocky-like sneer (see: Furious, The Fast and the).

She even looks pained trying to form said sneer into a smile (images.amazon.com)

As for the likely scenarios for Ms. Rodriguez, put me squarely in the camp who believe (spoiler alert, even though it is conjecture on my part) that the tail section has it's own group of surivours and has been living their own version of "Lost" not too far off.

This is a good move for Rodriguez's career, and might help score points for her inevitable Fametracker "Two Stars/One Slot" Last Latina Standing deathmatch with Roasario Dawson.

A co-worker and I were discussing this today and we were thinking that:

the raft survivors would wash up on whatever part of the beach that the tail end passengers ended up on (if they in fact survived). I think the person that confronted Jun in the restroom will be among them which will cause some tension between them.

Regardless, I get more pumped every day to see the next season and it's waaaay too far off at this point.

I'm of the mind that Sawyer grabbed hold of the Others' boat before it took off and is riding along like Indy on the Nazi sub in "Raiders."

BTW, Jorge Garcia was at JJ Abrham's charity event and has lost 30 pounds.

Yes, Abrams joked that anyone that didn't show up to the benefit from "Lost" or "Alias" would be killed off. Too funny.
