What Worked
Maxxxx Dynamite v. Dragon Frost was the match of this week. Really basic match with Frost working over Dynamites knee. Not nearly as many nut shots as I remember live, and the nut shots were really well done. Dynamite did a nice job selling the leg and his comebacks were well timed. It was about as long as the previous match, but didn't really feel long. It was a fine Dusty finish, as it forwards the story. I don't know about Dynamite turning heel, as you are already a heel heavy promotion, and there appeared to be two turns on this one show (Dynamite and Vaughn)
I liked the Kylie McClain running around the community center promo, especially the scaring of the kids. Although Sushi is from Japan
What Didn't Work
Alexxx Sage v. Brandon Day FROM PURGATORY actually came off worse on tape then live. Day looked really good, as all of his stuff looked nasty and stiff. Sage bumped well and sold well, but his offense had a real late 90's Wildside worker look to it, NWA-VA doesn't need Air Paris. This also went way too long, as they were hitting a bunch of finisher and not really leading anywhere. Day was clearly trying to work a story around the neck, but Sage had to get in his spots. Day clearly needs to be on the top of the card, but I can't really see him working face. He is also seemingly lost as a heel, as he isn't in any of three main stables, including a separate goth stable. I actually would like to see an angle where Day is sort of of Sting tweener. You could bring in Alter Boy Luke and Frey Tormenta to attempt to raise him from Purgatory to heaven, while Frost and Satanico lead him down to hell.
