If somebody HAS to turn, I'd rather it be HHH. And if somebody HAS to go nWo, then it should logically be HHH, as he can show up with the nWo any time he wants on RAW as long as he holds the belt (and possibly after depending on what happens when he drops the strap). | spf

He's been trying to be Flair for years, and by getting his running buddies to protect his title he gets to have his own Horsemen. That and the face run is sucking the life out of crowds from coast to coast. | Jackson

Yes, but Nash is "suspended" from RAW and could go to Smackdown. Also, if they help Hogan win the belt Hunter is stuck on Smackdown while Hogan can do both shows (thus making me TWICE as miserable).

Besides, with the lack of top faces in the WWF (SD in particular) - turning HHH now would not be too bright a move.
Now Rock turning heel.... | spf

As for what a heel HHH could do...squash everybody in sight, same thing he does as a face basically. | Jackson

| #8 Posted on 18.4.02 0448.06 Reposted on: 18.4.09 0455.05 | If anyone's turning, it'll be Triple H. Having Hogan rejoin the nWo will completely destroy his credibility. Besides, a lot of people have apparently bought Hulk Still Rules T-shirts, so Hulkamania appears to be running wild.
My prediction. Triple H will retain when the nWo interferes and manhandles Hogan. Triple H joins the nWo and actually becomes their leader.
But Hunter joining the nWo has one storyline flaw. Sure, Hunter will have his nWo teammates on RAW, but on the SmackDown after Backlash, he'd have no one to help him out against Hogan. And you know Hogan would kick Triple H's ass in sheer rage if such a swerve were to go down.
So either the nWo could be on both shows, or there could be a different nWo for each show, with Triple H recruiting a couple guys from the SmackDown roster. We'll see what pans out. | Saruman

Make him a heel, yeah, but take him back to basics--make him the paranoid, singleminded heel he was before, I say.

| #11 Posted on 18.4.02 2027.44 Reposted on: 18.4.09 2027.48 | Might be a good idea for him to hook up with SOMEONE. Triple H alone just isn't cutting the mustard right now. In fact, even when he was the psycho thug with a sledgehammer and a long shitlist, I didn't like him that much. Sure, like any red-blooded American, I appreciated the sheer force of his violent outbursts, but he just didn't have "it". "It" being that indefinable something that reaches out, grabs you by the balls and FORCES you to give a shit.
Funny, he talks about Jericho not having "it" yet, but without being booked as an unstoppable madman, he doesn't either.
I hope he does turn back to his old sledgehammer heel status, and at the same time the WWF adopts a similar blading policy to CZW. THAT could get interesting! | Freeway

Because these cliched "Mutual respect" things don't work...look at Rock/Jericho...it exploded. Benoit/Jericho at least had "I hate this guy" tension...
Bottom Line: Angles make matches mean something. Hogan/HHH doesn't mean anything to me with nothing but "respect" on the line. | Enojado Viento

| #13 Posted on 18.4.02 2053.08 Reposted on: 18.4.09 2053.23 | Well, the "lone pissed off guy with the sledgehammer" angle worked for ME, what can I say?
As for him cutting the mustard, look at it this way. . .he just got out of the worst kinda feud. . .the kind that makes *everyone involved* look terrible. I'm not apologising for it, but really, Steffie Megatits Last Stand REALLY sucked all the life from Jericho and HHH. And most everyone who watched it over the age of 14.
I just don't see how hooking HHH up to the nWo will reverse it's slow death or the damage done to his face run. Then again, given what happened on Smackdown, the nWo theory is good and moot now. | ALL ORIGINAL POSTS IN THIS THREAD ARE NOW AVAILABLE |
