Well, what with the draft coming up, I thought we should follow the tradition of the major sports and predict what may go down on Draft Day(s).
As of now, I only have one prediction to make. And this is how that story goes:
On Raw, we have a face world champion in Batista. With Trips temporarily out of the picture, we have two heel upper-carders to face him. The obvious one is Edge, who has two title shots - one due to the Gold Rush Tourney and the other because of the Money in the Bank match. He'll take the first shot at the next PPV, which he should job. It would then be logical for Edge to not take his other shot as long as Batista is champ, or wait until the expiry date, at the least. Since they wont feed us Edge v Batista for upwards of 8 months (we hope), we need another contender. That leaves Christian and Chris Jericho. I feel that a heel Jericho will feud over the IC title with Shelton Benjamin rather than the world title. Christian, I believe will be heading over to SD for a feud and a title shot against John Cena. Which leaves...no one.
Enter the draft. In SD!, we have three heel uppercarders: JBL, Eddie Guerrero, and Kurt Angle. Of these, shipping JBL seems least logical, as it would leave the Cabinet directionless. Plus, JBL is a solid and established upper level heel who can be used to elevate new talent in SD. Eddie Guerrero has a major feud going which I doubt will end with just one match at a PPV. There's a lot more money in Eddie/Rey, and the E will milk it for what it's worth. That leaves Kurt Angle, who is in a makeshift/placeholder feud with Booker T. It should end here at JD. Then Kurt can be free to go to Raw and challenge for the title.
The only other thing that may happen is that Undertaker gets drafted to Raw. The problem with that is that it will be difficult to turn him heel, since the crowd eats his stuff up regardless of his opponents.
That's that. Keep the good stuff coming. I'll write here when I get my occasional strokes of genius.

I'm going on the record as saying that I don't think Christian is going anywhere. Simply because they've had him talk about moving to Smackdown to face Cena so much, I think it was all a distraction. Besides, Christian's (finally) started to really get over on RAW, it would be a horrible move to switch him over to another show to start over again with a whole different group of guys to work off of (and without Tomko, Triple H, or Flair to help).

He's actually taking that shot in about 48 hours. And Trips will be back in the picture in 9 days.

If Angle does go to Raw than Raw really has to give up a couple of guys to make up for that spot. Christian and Jericho might not be enough for long term big card events. Flair would make could get a lot of guys on Smackdown over with his mic work alone, but I'll just put that in my pipe and smoke it.
I wouldn't be surprised to see Raw get themselves a bunch of lesser guys like Rene Dupree, Kenzo or Hardcore Holly types. I expect Dawn Marie to go to Raw to help bolster the Women's Division as well.

I heard "Dawn Marie" and "expecting" in a completely different sentence, but I think that's still just in the rumour stage, so pretend I said nothing.

They've been doing a La Resistance break-up angle, so I see one of them switching shows. Probably Conway, as I'd imagine he'd be the one to get the singles push. To go along with that, I see Rene Dupree moving back over to Raw to tag with La Resistance because they need tag teams and because Dupree got his shot last year and showed them he wasn't ready for it.
Orton is definitely going to Smackdown. They already teased that on Raw this past week so I assume there was a point to that. If he had never turned face, I'd say he should stay on Raw; but now, I think the best career move for him would be going to Smackdown to resume his "Legend Killer" gimmick.
I'd say because Orton is moving to Smackdown that the Undertaker should go to Raw. I'm working on a few assumptions here, namely that this will be Taker's last year (which it probably won't be) and that they want to eventually give Orton a win over Taker. I'd say keep them separate until WM XXII, where you can have Orton break the streak and possibly retire the Undertaker. In the meantime, if Undertaker is retiring, you can have him face a bunch of guys on Raw that he hasn't faced ever or at least in the past few years.
I could see JBL going to Raw. There's nothing left for him to do on Smackdown, which is odd because he has been a main eventer for less than a year, but during his time as champ, he beat everyone. Perhaps even a face turn to do a program with Triple H eventually like they teased earlier this year?
Besides that you could move Jericho, but that probably wouldn't matter in the long run. I'd also say that HBK ought to go to Smackdown unless he wants to turn heel and have a run on Raw as a heel. Otherwise, as great as he is in the ring, there's not a whole lot for him to do on Raw as he's had long programs with Edge and Triple H, the two top heels.

I would be shattered if Undertaker lost his streak. I think he should be allowed to retire with that intact. Its the one thing HHH can never get.

Anyway, Orton has teased revenge returns against both Taker (SD) and Batista (Raw), so I don't think you can use those as an indication of where he's going one way or another. I'd prefer to see him go to Smackdown and continue the Taker feud, but Batista is the one who directly put him out and to whom he promised payback to in his surgery video. But they're not obligated to follow up on that; it's nice that he has something to come back to on either side though.

And call me old-fashioned, but I think that someone's last match should always be a loss. Kind of a giving back to the business kind of thing. Mick Foley did it right (it's just too bad that his matches were with Triple H).

Well I hate to say that Smackdown is a "Minor League" compared to Raw, but the WWE seems to treat it that way. So why not use Smackdown as a place to give their younger unproven talent test runs in the main event picture. That's why I'd propose moving Orton, Shelton, Christian, Conway and Eugene to Smackdown. Orton, Shelton and Christian could all be WWE Title contenders with Cena right off the bat. Conway could be a good US Title holder atleast for now, same for Eugene, plus he just needs a new roster to keep him fresh. Then see how Shelton, Christian and Orton, along with guys like Cena and Mysterio do with a big time push. Meanwhile, I'd "graduate" Big Show, JBL, and Eddie to Raw because I think they've all done great over the past year on Smackdown. I think they'd really be missing out if they didn't do a Batista/Big Show feud sometime during his reign. That's one of the few monster vs. monster matchups that I think fans would actually eat up. JBL has had a great character but not the best of matches so why not put him on Raw with guys who can get better matches out of him. I'd also move HBK over Smackdown so that the WWE has atleast a few older guys (with Kurt and UT) to help out.

Yes, Eugene. I'd forgotten about him. After the Helmsley feud he really had nothing left to do and I still don't think he does. He could really pair up well with some of the workers on that show.
I'd be surprised if Carlito went to Raw unless they plan on him going face. I just don't see Helmsley having any other young, heat gaining heel on the show unless he is going to align with him.
