NEW SHOWS: * "Supernatural." Supernatural thriller, from writer Eric Kripke (The WB’s “Tarzan”), about two brothers who take a cross-country road trip to solve their mother’s 20-year-old murder. It stars Jensen Ackles (“Dark Angel,” “Smallville”) and Jared Padalecki (“Gilmore Girls,” “House of Wax”). * "Related." Hourlong comedy-drama, from writer Liz Tuccillo (“Sex and the City”) about four sisters in Manhattan. It stars Laura San Giacomo (“Just Shoot Me”), Lizzy Caplan (“Freaks and Geeks,” “Tru Calling,” “Mean Girls”), Jennifer Esposito (“Crash”) and Laura Breckenridge. * "Just Legal." Legal procedural comedy-drama, from writer Jonathan Shapiro (“Boston Legal”), about a 19—year-old lawyer and his defense-attorney mentor. MIDSEASON: * "Pepper Dennis." Comedy-drama, from Gretchen Berg & Aaron Harberts (“Roswell,” “John Doe.” “Wonderfalls,” “North Shore”), about a hot TV journalist in Chicago. It stars Rebecca Romijn (“X2”), Brooke Burns (“North Shore”), Rider Strong (“Cabin Fever”), Josh Hopkins (“The Perfect Storm,” “Ally McBeal”) and Lindsay Price (“Coupling”). * "The Bedford Diaries." Drama, from writer Tom Fontana (“Homicide,” “Oz”) about college students tied together by a class on human sexuality. It stars Milo Ventimiglia (“Gilmore Girls”), Audra McDonald (“Mister Sterling”) and Matthew Modine (“Cutthroat Island”). * "Misconceptions." Sitcom about a single mother who discovers her sperm donor misrepresented himself. It stars Jane Leeves (“Frasier”). * "Modern Men." Sitcom, from writer Marsh McCall (“Just Shoot Me,” “My Big Fat Greek Life”), about twentysomethings who seek out a “life coach.” It stars Josh Braaten (“Married to the Kellys”), Max Greenfield (Deputy Leo on “Veronica Mars”) and Eric Lively (“The L Word”).
Smallville is dead as a doornail on Thursdays. Ratings had already plummeted as it was dead last in its timeslot on Wednesdays every week. Against Survivor and The OC, Superboy doesn't stand a chance. Good riddance.

Well seeing as how he's going to college I didn't really think they had a lot of places to go.
Besides, Evil Dr. Quinn AKA "Lana is a reincarnated witch" was kind of a sign that the tank was running low.
Not that I don't enjoy the show still (Lois is awesome) but maybe mercy killing the show in a death time slot is better than letting it decompose any more.
Oh, and fuck them for cancelling Jack and Bobby. | Torchslasher

You have GOT to be kidding me. It seems that Jane Leeves is just doing this little, one year project, before she is brought onto an existing and hopefully longer running show. | Dahak

Is Clark still on Smallville? I thought it was about how Lana Lang becomes a witch ninja because she is the "Chosen one". | Tribal Prophet
