Too much free time? A godsend? Both? Neither?

Anyway, I might just have to find out if Ruby Red Squirt is as good as I remember.

I found the northeastern cult favorite Moxie at a BEVMO. I remembered inhaling the stuff when I'd visit my grandparents in Maine. I can't believe I used to like that stuff.

My standard reply is to direct people to Galco's (sodapopstop.com), but BevMo is good if you're in one of the states that has them. (I am not. Frowny face) BevMo will also unmercilessly spam you if you're too lazy to unsubscribe - more personal experience talking here

I don't remember the email address I gave to BevMo when I signed up, or even if I did, but it wasn't any of the ones I check regulary or not. Plus, they have the awesome Samuel Adams SummerAle.

I wonder if something like this is available in Canada; I'd kill to find Electric Blue Jolt sent to my home every week.

Oh, don't say that. All the three of my pie-lettes enjoy the Moxie. Nothing better.

I see they have two entries under the category of Birch Beer.

Doesn't sound promising. Anyone ever tried it?

The absolute worst soda I ever tried, by the way, was this stuff my uncle brought back from a business trip in northern Quebec. It's called Spruce Beer. It's actually made from spruce needles or spruce bark or something, and, I shit you not, really does taste like carbonated turpentine. Just fucking awful, but apparently the locals up there just love the stuff.

I had Apple Slice when I was in the States 15 years ago and I still crave it. I don't think they make it anymore though.

You're out of your mind. The stuff *rules*.
