A lot of this is old news, but NEW TO ME - and now, NEW TO YOU:

"Minimum Maximum," Kraftwerk's FIRST (official) live release, will hit all decent American record stores on 7 June. No confirmation on the Astralwerks ( site just yet - maybe Friday? Promos have made the rounds.

The double CD is a compilation of tracks from the 2003-04 world tour - only one track from San Francisco, but since Kim and I went to both shows, you can bet we're in there somewhere. ;-)

There's also a German version replacing some of the English performances with German performances (mostly from Berlin concerts).

Tracklists? Hit the Kraftwerk page:

Supposedly following thereafter are a double DVD, a Multichannel (stereo surround) SACD AND a quad LP version. Hardcore Kraftwerk fans (like me) will find themselves stone cold broke after collecting them all...

In other news, here are the American dates for the KW05 tour:

30/05/2005, Nightclub 9:30, Washington, DC
31/05/2005, Nightclub 9:30, Washington, DC
01/06/2005, Hammerstein Ballroom, New York, NY
03/06/2005, State Theatre, Detroit, MI
04/06/2005, Riviera, Chicago, IL
06/06/2005, Greek Theatre, Los Angeles, CA

Everyone loves KRAFTWERK
