So it's going to be the Corey Clark-Sour Grapes hour, but if his allegations can be proved, is this the Twenty/One scandal of our generation?
Honestly, I'd say no, only because the era and ethics are different. OTOH, we are talking about Standards & Practices here, which was partially put into place because of the quiz show scandals of the 50's and if that puts at least Abdul's AI career in jeopardy.

He didn't "lose," he was kicked off the show for lying on his application or something...he was never "voted off" so it's *possible* he could have won (though highly unlikely, I'd hope). Her tip to sing a Journey song was inspiring...Randy ate it up, and that was a lovely trip down memory lane watching Randy play onstage with Journey.

I watched the Primetime Special...and if it wasn't true, how did he get a hold of a prescription cough medicine in her name, and why in the hell would she be calling him like mad telling him not to talk to the media.
That, and seeing how she acted anytime Anwar or Constantine would sing, it doesn't surprise me.
He makes a good point as well, I don't necessarily find Paula Abdul hot, but if she came on to me...I'd hit it.
Now, how intimate the relationship actually got, I dunno. It will be interesting to see how this pans out.
