Granted there was no real compelling reason for him to stick around and taking stiff chair shots to the head on a weekly basis probably isn't the greatest idea in the world, but he should have at least just backed off slowly and menacingly or something. No big deal I guess.
And I am oh so proud to share a first name with the good Mr. Heyman. I chuckled most hardily when he put the thong in his coat pocket before leaving.
I don't know what it is about female wrestlers, but whenever they talk to their male heel opponents, they sound way to friendly and familiar. This is the second time I noticed it, the first being when Chyna kept calling Jericho "Chris" like they were old friends or something. | Hokienautic

He keeps talking about how Austin wants Flair at ringside, how he NEEDS Flair at ringside, and Austin responds that he doesn't want OR need him. That would have been an absolutely PERFECT time for Undertaker to bring up last year's Wrestlemania and how Austin needed Vince then to win the title, so he has a history of getting help. That maybe Austin can't hack it anymore. That his knees are shot, he's washed up, and he can't win without help. Just like McMahon helped him last year, what do you want to bet he's run to Ric Flair this year?
I think it would have added a nice layer to the match, and also would have given Austin a subplot in his chase of the title, that he needs to prove to the fans, to UT and to himself that he's still Got It. | ALL ORIGINAL POSTS IN THIS THREAD ARE NOW AVAILABLE |
