| #1 Posted on 24.4.05 1545.08 Reposted on: 24.4.12 1546.02 | Ok, so i'm getting ready to buy tickets for WWE on friday morning in Dulbin for Smackdown (come on Austin will be there) and i know they are going to be gone in minutes and i really want to get the best possible seats.
The mistake i made last time was i went right for ground floor and they were all gone so now i will try to go right for 'Best available'.
Now i was wondering if any of you ticketmaster vets have any tips regards these fast sellouts -ie- where about should i keep refreshing the page the hour of tickets going on sale, should it be the ticket sales page or the lisings page? I'm buying online with a 64k connection which is fast enough for me, loading takes about 3-5 seconds, but broadband will be on in a flash. Any tips would be grateful. Thanks. | Promote this thread! | | ShotGunShep

Go on the websites of your local radio stations that young people in Ireland listen to(here in the US it would be alternative Rock stations). Try giving them a call as well. | StaggerLee

It worked for my friend buying U2 Tickets a few years back, had her mom in Cincinatti buy them for the show here in St Louis. | Bullitt

If you can find one that doesn't have anything major going on sale that day, it's easier than trying to phone in to the one in your city. | hhhgamewmx7

| #5 Posted on 2.5.05 0755.43 Reposted on: 2.5.12 0759.01 | | Thanks for tips guys but i got them online last Friday, about 30 rows back which is ok. The reason i didn't wait outside the arena for tickets is because the last time they went on sale there, only the first 2 people got served and the rest (about 100 more) were turned away after waiting for hours. I got them 5 mins after they went on sale becuase i kept reloading the page from 5 mins before they went on sale but the ticket page never came up. | | ALL ORIGINAL POSTS IN THIS THREAD ARE NOW AVAILABLE |
