The very first post in the thread includes a ton o' links about HoM.
Me, I'll probably skip it. It sounds mildly interesting, but I buy enough comics as it is, and with the various Seven Soldiers and Infinite Crisis miniseries added on, well, yeesh. Plus, while I like Bendis in general, "Avengers Disassembled" was a steaming pile of crap and these sorts of huge, world-shaking stories generally aren't his forte (Secret War isn't terribly good so far either).

Marvel's gotten in trouble with Spain's royal family over HoM. One of the artists involved, Mike Mayhew, drew a cover picture of Magneto wearing a uniform, which he apparently swiped directly from a photo of King Juan Carlos -- and Juan Carlos is not amused at seeing a mutant terrorist wearing his clothes.
