No divisional games for the champs until Week 7? A little odd. Good news is that we get the mandatory Foxboro victory over Indianapolis, and that Miami comes to town on New Year's Day.

The Broncos road schedule in November looks less than inviting (Oakland - 11/13 & Dallas on Thanksgiving) so it looks like my annual roadtrip will be to Vegas this year. What a shame.....

I'll be sitting in lovely Lambeau on Christmas Day. When I asked my wife where we were going to be for Christmas this year (meaning my family or her's), she replied "The Bahamas?". When I told her that it would be Lambeau, instead, she replied "That's a good second choice."

I really love her :-)

I thought every team in the league got at least one primetime game a year, either on Sunday or Monday nights? The Bucs have none (not that I can blame the networks for not wanting them...).

I think the rule (if it still exists) might be at least one "national" appearance per year for every team...which includes the five Saturday games on 17 December and 31 December. Tampa Bay plays at New England in the "early" slot of the 17 December tripleheader (and we all pray for snow, I'm sure).

I believe that was phased out over the years. I want to say that in the beginning of the Sunday night TV package (when it was TNT/ESPN), each team had to be on once. And there are enough weeks in the season to do it.

Im surprised that they are having games on New Years Day. They used to belong to the colleges. Another reason to hate the BCS.

Well, it IS a Sunday. And the Sundays belong to the NFL until the season is over.

Most likely, the BCS games will be played on the 2nd, 3rd, & 4th (Monday, Tuesday, & Wednesday)

Full Packers 2005 schedule

Lucky you...instead of opening presents w/ the family, or enjoying a beverage in the stands, I'll be hopping up and down the sidelines, taking some of WLS-TV's money.

Dammit, if St. Vince thought the Turkey Day games @ Detroit were bad, he'd consider this absolute blasphemy.

And New Year's Day vs. Homey the Walrus (goo goo ka-choo) and the Seahawks? This town won't sober up until Jan. 3rd. :-)

Buffalo is hosting Houston on opening weekend, which means my annual trip there won't be spent at a sports bar on Sunday. Well, not all day. I'll have to check if the Yanks/Sox game is a night one. Eh, either way, Labatt's is as cheap as Budweiser, and at least I find it's quality to be superior.

Congrats on the Christmas at Lambeau, too.

Now it turns out we'll be spending November 13 at the Georgia Dome - just got the "yeah, that would be fun" reply from my wife when I found out about a trip there.

Have I said lately how much I love her?
