Yesterday's episode was totally hilarious...but I didn't really understand the entire downsizing sub-plot...is that going to be something that will be carried on during the series, or at least the next few weeks?

This show has now officially become Must See TV for me.

Last night's was really funny with the mocking of Survivor.

The downsizing subplot is from the British version where they called it "eliminating redundancies."

Yesterdays was the first ep that I've seen so far and I really like it. The end with Dwight claiming he knew all along, but he had the blond hair, hilarious.

I wonder how many shoots they have to do on some scenes because I would find myself laughing all of the time.

Dwight has to be one of the funniest TV characters I've seen since, dare I say, George Costanza ... I lost it when he was poking holes in that box.

It was quite good once more. Carell had two wonderful homages to the Brentmeister general. The bit about anonymous was as David as it gets, almost up there with "How would you like to be remembered?" "Simply as the man who brought a smile to the face of all who he encountered."

Also, the thing where he names the reference that he was just making. "Star Trek."

The Alliance was the best Dwight plot by far in the season. The Jim/Pam thing is, uh, not quite as nuanced as Tim/Dawn, but they are still amusing with their winding him up.

About the downsizing, as fuelinjected motherapproved said, the redundancies was the driving plot of the entire UK show. Without spoilers, it culminated at the end of "series" one and led to the big changes for "series" two.
