Ah, don't impress me! I do This one
This one is pretty fun too. I am glad I get to avoid it, but it is the main interchange to get to Cleveland's airport. Fun with traveling!

The only thing I have a problem with this service is that when I look around Calgary, part of the city isn't zoomable...like here.

That's OK though. I adore the service...it's SOOOO much fun.

That is the Springfield (VA) Mixing bowl which they're fixing now. It's where I-95 north hits the I-495 Captial Beltway and I-395 which would have been I-95 going into DC until some hippies in Takoma Park, MD did a NIMBY and prevented I-95 from cutting through the city and forced everyone to drive around the beltway.

The Mixing bowl one some (dis)honors for being the intersetion with the most accidents. There was like 100 feet from the exit ramp from one interstate to the entrance ramp, and one had to cross four or five lanes, to another and there were constant fender-benders.

So heres a question for all of you who have checked this out...

Now that you have a pretty satellite image on screen, what do you want to do with it??

I can see wanting to be able to see different dates of imagery, if they are available, but what else?

This weekend I drove to Philly and used the sat. maps to help me out with landmarks.

When they say "5th hotel on the right" It's nice to be able to count them on a map.

I have been printing them out (since I have a free color printer here at work) for my trip packets. Now we'll see if they help me. Since I go to a different city most weeks (off to Windsor CT next week, Houston the next and Phoenix the next), it might help me in the new cities. We'll see.

I've always been obsessed with aerial photos & maps, I love this stuff. I have no practical use for it, it's just neat to look at.

Mrs. Dunk has now discovered this feature and she is using it to fly over all of the houses of all the different parents at our school. She is also using it as a supplement to the Sunday Real Estate section - only Desperate Housewives pulled her away from it last night.
