So, I'm trying to play the game and it seems that they no longer have the different controller configurations available? I'm playing this on my Cube, so if someone could confirm that you really can't switch to Config 2 and that I'm not just being stupid that would be great.
I don't know how well the regular configuration works on the PS2, but on the Xbox it's marginal, and on the Cube it's downright stupid. The A button is the main button, and with the normal "Config 2" you can make it so that the A button is Sprint no matter if you're on offense or defense instead of randomly having it change on you. This also means that you can be holding down the Sprint button and hit B for tackle at the same time - something you can't do when Sprint is mapped to "X".
If there really is no way to change the configuration, then I'll just be taking the game back. I find the normal config to be endlessly frustrating, and more than a little pointless as I already have '03 and '04.
