As usual Dutch steals the show. He's my favorite by far, and it's going to be great to see him "control" Claudette, and even better to see her reaction when she inevitably finds out what he was doing. I really hope that they get some good cases for a while, because it's fun to watch Dutch work a case.
Still no Tavon. I'm a little bummed about that, but hopefully he'll show up sometime and learn the truth about the night he got beat up. I'd love to see a Tavon/Shane showdown. | The Yak

I didn't want to say it, but I was thinking the same thing. Mara + PPD = bad.
This was a great episode, and Dutch is my favorite character, too. He was so out of line with that Middle Eastern family, but I couldn't help but laugh. I do respect his loyalty to his partner, though, and Claudette really owes him one.
I was really impressed with Julian this episode. Unfortunately, he didn't have enough cred with the young banger to get the right answer from him, but his willingness to give him a chance and some hope really showed how much he has grown since the first season.
All those killings over a "stank ho." Unreal. I never saw that twist coming.
Good episode that, as said, continues to set things up for the rest of the season. | orangeman

I have to think Claudette will sniff that out fairly quickly because she'll want to know what made the DA's office change it's tune rapidly when she hasn't altered her stance at all. We may have Dutch's "I'm smarter than everyone else" get him in hot water trying to control things like he thinks he can while still maintaining a good partnership.
About Shane's new home life, I'm wondering if he'll wish he wasn't married with a kid at a time when he's got things set up the way he wants (mostly) on the job. At some point I can envision Shane asking Vic about what to do when domestic bliss hits the fan. | ALL ORIGINAL POSTS IN THIS THREAD ARE NOW AVAILABLE |
