Solid job...I dunno if they missed any details. Hell, they even threw TNA, Nash, Terry Funk, and the NWA a bone. Promote this thread! | | JoshMann

The chasm was already jumped when Warrior went nuts and had the Crayola 16-pack of belts. Or with Austin and his Smokin' Skull belt. If Cena wants to have his Bling Bling Belt, I don't really see the harm in it. Especially if they think that there's a market for it.
And if people were fan enough to buy the Spinning US Title, there's nothing that doesn't make me think they wouldn't buy a Cena-customed WWE Title Belt. Besides, making money is what a #1 babyface is supposed to do.

People keep saying Austin's was great but I don't know who isn't dating his cousin who is affected by the inherent coolness of smoking skulls. I'm not a fan of anyone personalizing titles because it cheapens them, but why this time it would be so much worse than the other times is beyond me. | misterwaffles

D'oh, and by posting that fact, the WWE knows it's leaked and will probably change the outcome.
Congrats, you cost Cena the title!

I think in a way it reminds me of the Million Dollar Belt, which was cool as an accessory but I never liked it when it was actually fought over. Somehow it seems less earned than a traditional belt. Hell, can you imagine if HHH did something like that to the Big Gold Belt?

It's not as though champions haven't done stuff like this before: think of Warrior with his multicolored title straps, Bradshaw and Dreamer with the customized Hardcore title, Lance Storm putting Canadian stickers on his various belts, and of course Cena's U.S. belt.

| #14 Posted on 1.4.05 0133.07 Reposted on: 1.4.12 0134.12 | It's been brought to my attention that there are fully grown adults, firmly into their twenties, who still wear their jeans "bum style".
If people who have graduated from high school, who can vote and legally by alcohol, or who can even apply for a mortgage, still think they look cool with their asses hanging out of pants 6 sizes too large for them, then I wouldn't underestimate the appeal of a tricked-out, spinning, title belt with loads of "bling" within this demographic.
I'm not condoning it, of course, but only because it's obviously lame.
On the other hand, let's all be happy for Cruiserweight Champion Paul London. | ALL ORIGINAL POSTS IN THIS THREAD ARE NOW AVAILABLE |
