And yes, the PC folks in my kid's school have taken to calling it Leprechaun's Day instead of St. Patrick's Day, so it won't be considered a "religious" holiday.

I'm missing all the good parties today thanks to work...including running karaoke at the most non-Irish bar I can think of (while the rest of my ACW-NWA WI buddies drink out of a keg in their poolside hotel room at the local HoJo's w/ a kickass Irish bar)...and then going back to work 2 1/2 hours later.

Bullitt: The place was so overwhelmingly packed that I didn't really talk to any servers. I did get my fill of Harp Lager, though.
Lise: There's an Irish pub by your place? And we never went there? I must have been spending too much time in the 7-Eleven buying Sour Starburst.

Okay, I finally figured it out. Being the only guy to post in the St. Patrick's Day thread three days later - or ANY day that isn't St. Patrick's Day - combined with your most recent set of replies is a *lot* like wearing a sign saying "LOOK AT ME, IT'S LATE SATURDAY NIGHT AND WHERE AM I? I'M *HERE*! I'M POSTING IN SIX DAY OLD THREADS!" I'm sure you don't even need ME to bring you to the obvious conclusion. ;-) Aaaaaaaand I'm closing THIS thread. | | ALL ORIGINAL POSTS IN THIS THREAD ARE NOW AVAILABLE |
