As for the soldier, what would be his motivation to lie about this? Things like this make my head hurt. Promote this thread!

After all those years of being king of his world, he was forced to hide out in a hole.

Y!: # 3 Posted on 10.3.05 0953.58 Reposted on: 10.3.12 0954.26 Always interesting how issues come out. The guy says a marine of Sudanese descent was KIA. Just did a little research at http://icasualties.org/oif/ByState.aspx The only military noted as being killed on Dec 12, 2003 are Jarrod Black, of Peru, Indiana and Jeffrey Braun of Stafford, CT. None are listed KIA on the 13th. On the 14th, two were killed, one was a female and the other was clearly in the Army (they don't have Specialists in the Corps) Black was Army, according to http://www.pigstye.net/iraq/article.php/20031219081111910 so was Braun - according to http://legacy.com/HartfordCourant/Soldiers.asp?Page=FSSearchResults&Sort=Newspaper and was of Honduran descent. Maybe this guy is full of it. (and with regard to his motivation - did you see where the story was quoted from and where the guy now lives?) (edited by AWArulz on 10.3.05 1055)

Never saw anybody follow up on those stories, though.

Now you know who he is. Now he becomes an instant talk-show and interview celebrity. Now he becomes the hero of everyone trying to paint the US action in Iraq in any bad light possible. There are probably a few more....
