I know Warner just wanted a starting job, and I also know he hasn't done much since 2001, but it's still wierd seeing Arizona in the same story as any quasi-big name free agent. The Cardinals have some great recieving threats (though Freddie Jones may be slowing down some), and now have somebody who can get them the ball. I like McCown, but competition at QB is a good thing for a leaderless team.
If the Offense can stay on the field longer, the defense is going to improve as well.

I've always been a fan of Warner, namely because I like his "rags-to-riches" story. And he's shown that he can still play (see: NY Giants, early season 2004) Here's to hoping that he finds success in Arizona. | StaggerLee

If the Cards suck on offense he wont be asked back next season for 4 million, thats for sure. | ALL ORIGINAL POSTS IN THIS THREAD ARE NOW AVAILABLE |
