Why yes it is! I actually heard this song on Dr. Demento years ago (over 10 years ago, actually - sheesh.). That was a hilarious song. He also did a great song about Wellington boots that I heard the original version of in my AP Euro History class later that year. Talk about distracting - trying to learn about the peasant class while humming a song about boots.
For the D.I.V.O.R.C.E. lyrics, Click Here (homepage.ntlworld.com) I'm pretty impressed too - that song was only #1 for one week.
As for myself - 1/20/75 "Please Mr. Postman" - The Carpenters (US) "Everything I Own" - Ken Boothe (UK) (edit - Hey Thrill, I've never heard of this song or artist either, yet here he was at or around the top song from at least January thru March. Crazy.)

StaggerLee, I loved Rolf Harris "Two Little Boys" - don't knock it till you've heard it. Rolf Harris wrote a ton of great stuff, my favorite being "The Buffalo Song" which was played on the local radio for years.
