I'm looking for suggestions here. I want to buy a new game in the coming weeks but I hesitate between Fight Night 2 and MVP Baseball 2005. What would you recommend me? (for PS2, by the way, if it makes any difference)

From most accounts, if one has MVP 2004, one does not need need 2005. They are not THAT different. Hell, Sammy is still a Cubbie in the game.

Do you have Fight Night 2004? That is a good game, but apparently they added a "power punch" feature that works with the TPC system for one-punch KOs. If you don't have 2004, I'd say get that first, maybe.

I just FINALLY got my featherweight guy to a title shot with a 34-3 record (or so). He was knocked down 22 (!) times en route to an 11th-round stoppage at the hands of the champ.

The only games I have are Madden 2005, RAW vs SD and SD: Here comes the pain.

Just my opinion but MVP Baseball 2005 has more replay value for me. Fight Night is a great game but after I've gotten pretty far I don't have much interest anymore, MVP baseball I can play all year long and not get tired of it.

If you're getting it for the 'Cube, Fight Night Round 2 comes with a playable copy of "Super Punch-Out!!"
