| #1 Posted on 2.3.05 0745.48 Reposted on: 2.3.12 0745.49 | It is expected to be announced today that the Browns have traded DT Gerard Warren to the Denver Broncos for a 4th round draft pick. Also rumored is that the Browns are in talks with the New York Giants for a trade for William Green.
Good riddance to bad rubbish, I say. Warren never lived up to his billing. Willie Green is a good talent but was stuck behind that terrible O-line. Also, with his personal baggage here it is probably for the best if he gets a fresh start. Promote this thread! | | drjayphd

Dayne's Cap Friendly rookie contract has finally expired, so Ernie Accorsi will actually allow the Giants to field a full compliment of players by having an actual back-up running back on the roster. As for Green: I don't like Boston College running backs in the pros. They are almost as fraudulent as Penn State running backs. | whatever

And it appears they have signed New England OL Joe Andruzzi to a four-year deal. Thank goodness - something to shore up that line.
(edit) And now, reports are that Dallas has signed away CB Anthony Henry. Looks like a lot of new faces are forthcoming on the Browns defensive backfield.

Clearly, the answer is Nate Hy--oh, wait. That's "So Dolphins fans, who will be the starting QB now?"
I see the Browns trying to get a Chris Simms type... young backup. The other name I've heard is Dilfer, so you decide how well that'll work. | BigDaddyLoco

Dilfer, huh? This reminds me to check out what QB's are available this year, 'cause I hope the Brownies can find and draft a good one. | drjayphd

Well, what if they don't? Harris hasn't had a chance to show what he's got, as far as I know, and McCown can't COMPLETELY blow. Who does he think he is, his brother? Either way, that's what I've heard the Browns are going to do (blame Espin, the Website). | ALL ORIGINAL POSTS IN THIS THREAD ARE NOW AVAILABLE |
