I usually don't play PC games (let alone MMORPGs), but this game is incredible. I just completely wasted my last two weekends on this (making my significant other angry and placing an even bigger burden on myself for V-day) and it has got to be the most addictive, amazing game I've ever played. I know Evercrack was a predecessor, but the graphics sucked on that and this is just ridiculously huge. Any fans out there?
EDIT: OOOOOH, damn. Just saw the same thread a few down. My bad. You can toss this in the scrap heap.... But, the thread IS closed. Just wondering if any more people are still playing.

I started playing at release, but I changed servers a few days in (I had been on Whisperwind, which was down at the time). Now I'm much more pleased with my current realm and the people there (a few jerks, but that's what the Ignore function is for).

Giving up Everquest was honestly harder for me than giving up drinking daily and giving up cocaine. No joke. You might think I'm joking or exaggerating, but I am really not.
Playing Everquest when I was a depressed messed up 16 year old was my only real outlet. There was a span of a few days where I slept 3 hours, went to summer football practice and spent the rest of the time playing EQ. Except for bathroom breaks and going LinkDead to lookup info on the net or go get food, I was glued to the screen.
Thinking about going back to my substance abuses is the same feeling I think about playing EQ.
Now I am probably in the great minority when it comes to this. I am probably predisposed to addiction of many kinds(now it is bodybuilding and my girlfriend, both of which have kept me off of drugs and focused on school and keyboarding), but these games can be dangerous if you are the wrong type of person.
Just thought I'd share that all with you. Have fun at your own risk! | Parts Unknown
