ditto here. yay for us, I guess. thankfully my gf hates the commercialization of the holiday with flowers prices out of this world, so she specifically told me not to get her flowers. instead I surprised her with one of her favorite candies, cadburry creme eggs. gotta love easter candy on v-day (we celebrated over the weekend since she's back at school in SD). | DJ FrostyFreeze

We're gonna go see the movie of HER choice at 6:25 (The Wedding Date), then it's off to a dinner of my choosing (TGIFridays, sitting in the bar so we catch RAW! (I'm SO romantic!)), then we're going to a nightclub here cause a friend of mine is videoDJing tonight and I gave him a disc with her three favorite videos (The Monroes - WHAT DO ALL THE PEOPLE KNOW, The Polyphonic Spree - LIGHT AND DAY(ver#3), and Delerium - FLOWERS BECOME SCREENS) with a short intro recorded by me saying these are for her on our first Valentines day together.
Sigh... sorry to interupt, go on back to your loneliness stories. No one wants to hear about the happy people around here...

In case that falls through, my girl and I saw "Hitch" and it was a very cute and funny movie. Perfect date movie.
James and Smith had awesome characters that suited them well. It is a romantic dramedy, and near the end, there were actually some tears and sniffles from the audience. | TigerFan55

| #17 Posted on 14.2.05 1408.02 Reposted on: 14.2.12 1408.32 | | This is the first Valentine's Day in three years that I haven't had someone to spend it with, and I couldn't be happier. Thankfully down here it is usually overshadowed by Mardi Gras, so I don't have to pay much attention to it. I was with someone for the last two V-Day's that who thought it was the most important day of the year and it was all around a experience to be dreaded. Today, thankfully, is just like any other day for me. :-) | dunkndollaz
