A guy that I work with has a stepdaughter that goes to school with the 13-year-old boy. He says that the boy has become an outcast and everyone has basically stabbed him in the back.

I don't know of any 13 year old girls who actually WANT to have sex with a balding, ugly, overweight male teacher, but if the kid involved in this story was anything like me (and most guys, I'd wager) when I was his age, I'm pretty sure he was down with hitting that thang.

I'm teaching that age right now, and I'm just about positive that these kids, while they might think they know everything, don't, especially about sex. They have no qualms about talking in front of the student teacher, and I have to turn away and laugh (or cringe) at some of the misconceptions they have about things. They had a Valentine's Day dance last night, and while they danced like they saw on MTV (or, as my mentor teacher said, "They're humping!"), I saw little to no PDA's (Public Displays of Affection), and it looked almost comical these little kids trying to act like grownups.
I'm thinking that the kid was taken advantage of, really, and it's kind of sad. Students have crushes on teachers all the time. It's when a teacher takes advantage of that when it's deplorable, no matter how "cool" somebody thinks it would be. I'm sure this kid's going to be messed up for a while. | Jonny_English
