Ok this is from a couple weeks ago. The big rally for the anniversary of the Roe vs. Wade took place and one thing lead to another...but apparently Phil wrote up a solo review and its nice and to the point.

So Its all Phil here:

Doing this solo tonight as Tom got a booty call from a girl in town for the Pro-Life rally he picked up in a bar. So he went to go and try to put a baby in her belly, or failing that a bunch of babies all over her skirt.

What Worked

Beniot and Tomko work freakily well together and that bizarre charisma gets this match up here. When this match was starting Tom had yet to set off for his missionary work, and he commented "Man that is alot of shitty guys in the ring." I agreed and then we realized that we like pretty much everyone in this match except Micheals. His shittiness extends a force field of crap to everyone in the match. It could be Micheals/El Dandy/Shinya Hashimoto v. Bill Dundee/Negro Casas/Tsyoshi Kikuchi and we probably still would have said "Man that is alot of shitty guys"

Batista killing La Resistance was a pretty fun squash, although burying the tag champs pretty badly. I am really enjoying Batista on the mike too, although his promo's may be a little to low key and Nick Bockwinkleish for the WWE.

God bless Val Venis he really tried. That had the feel of Hassan's career match

Hey Meltzer said the Maximos are heading to OVW. With Suzuki on Smackdown, the Shane Twins coming in and Steve Madison working dark matches. I am really excited to see them run their World Japan nostalgia PPV. For failed indy nostalgia PPV mained by short roid guy v. spot machine, Joel v. Todd Shane would smoke RVD v. Rhyno. Plus Yatsu is a legit Ex-Olympian, Yatsu v. Angle interpromotional is money in the bank.

Flair is fucking nuts, he took about five high backdrops in that match, and leaned into Orton's punches enough to make them look like they hurt. Luger won WON most improved too, but Orton didn't look as good here as peak worker Luger. He may look better then peak worker Nash who won in 1995, but I don't remember any long Flair v. Nash matches.

What Didn't Work

It is pretty sad to see the WWE have to rely on cheap sports heat week after week. It is a national TV show, why would they think anyone would care about OU football taunts. I also think HHH beating up Danny Hodge was less believable then Shane getting takedowns on Angle or Vince making Shamrock tap. Hodge has better punches then anyone on this whole roster.

Helmsley working the rapist gimmick is actually smart, with all the new Divas he could molest one a week and drag it out until Summerslam

I am happy to see Viscera in the Royal Rumble, but the booking of these qualifying matches is really stupid. They have basically jobbed out all the stupid bumpfreak juniors, who's hot death bumps make long middle stretches of Royal Rumble's tolerable. No Tajiri, no London, no Akio, no Shannon Moore, no Nunzio. The only guy left to take the crazy bump is Flair.
