- George Karl to be named Denver coach

- Qyntel "who let the dogs out" Woods signs with Miami after Portland dropped him.

- WALTAH~! might be headed to Phoenix. Gary Payton might be out of Boston pretty soon himself.

- Kobe may be out until AFTER the break. The Lakers are still 4-2 without him though.

- Zeke to Allan Houston: Quit.

Can anyone tell me why Phoenix needs Walter? Especially just after getting JJ?

Anyone wanna tell me how the Knicks think they can come close to contending with the plethora of bad contracts they've negotiated? Any team that gives a seven-year, $100 million contract to Allan Houston deserves to be in the draft lottery. It was a bad idea at the time, and it's even stupider now.

They still don't have much of a bench even with Jackson... getting Waltah would add some more depth at the center and power forward positions. A legit 8-man rotation is better than what they've been going with for the long haul, but they still need to find a real backup point guard, who can at least keep the ship above water if Nash were to go down again.
