| #1 Posted on 10.1.05 2350.52 Reposted on: 10.1.12 2351.10 | Just finished up Kindgom Hearts: Chain of Memories. Having seen how it all ends, it's time to look into the future and what part two could and will have in store, based on the ending of KH:CoM and various previews for KH2.
WARNING: Contains spoilers for Kingdom Hearts: Chain of Memories!
-Previews and screencaps show that the world of "Mulan" will be explored. Good chance Mulan will join the party for that stage, which could be really cool. -The awesome PETE will join the villains' side and looks to play a large role, as he's been seen in the Colosseum previews...and in Agrabah, holding a familiar lamp (meaning Jafar will more than likely return, as well). -The world of "Hercules" will take greater stage. Meg looks to be in on the festivities this time, also. -Final Fantasy X's AURON will be featured! -The Organization from KH:CoM will have a greater role and maybe, just maybe, we'll finally learn what Axel's deal is and whose side he's really on. And the trailer to part two can now be seen with a new perspective, considering King Mickey's wearing an "Organization" cloak. -The storyline from "Beauty and the Beast" will be touched on, as the withering rose will be prominently featured.
Other than that, SqaureEnix has been very quiet regarding details for part two. One has to wonder what other Disney characters will be featured (I'm secretly hoping for ANYTHING alluding to "The Hunchback of Notre Dame") and if any other movie storylines will be followed (aside from "Hercules" and "Beauty and the Beast", which are fine additions in themselves). Doubtful that Cloud will come back, but Squall (I refuse to refer to him as Leon), Yuffie, and Aerith had relatively big roles in the first game, so one would think they'll be back. All questions will be answered this September, although SquareEnix is boasting a Spring 2005 release date. Anything else that should be expected from SquareEnix this time around?
