Ahh, so that's why RVD's move is so named. /*ducks projectiles from the RVD lovers */
New ride looks excellent! Does California get an even taller one next then?

This is absolutely true. I remember loving the wooden coaster at Magic Mountain in CA. The problem, moreso even than it falling apart, is the whiplash that ALL wooden coasters give to you. I need a chiropractor after I ride Rolling Thunder. | Lise

| #10 Posted on 9.1.05 0626.14 Reposted on: 9.1.12 0626.20 | Yeah, the hands up in the air thing isn't so brilliant on a wooden coaster. I got whipped into the side of the car at SFoT and walked around the rest of the week with a nasty looking black bruise on my underarm. Owwie.
This Kingda Ka coaster looks awesome. That just has to be one hell of a whip around.
I think my favorite Six Flags coaster has to be Mr. Freeze at SFoT. Is that the same as the Superman ones at other parks, just with different theming? We still haven't made it up to visit the CA one since I moved down here.

In NJ, that ride is called Batman And Robin: The Ride. Interestingly enough, the Robin side is MUCH faster at Great Adventure, and thus is my favorite roller coaster there (until I get on this new guy, and then all bets are off). | vsp

I'm going to be getting two HersheyPark season passes for 2005, after two trips last year. Storm Runner is short but nicely intense, Great Bear is a nifty metal coaster, and the Wildcat is the best and roughest wooden coaster I've been on in quite some time. | jfkfc

The last time I went to 6FGA regularly, the "new" ride was the Sarejevo Bobsled Ride...and maybe once or twice since. I think it was when I was in HS that they ran the "REDNUHT GNILLOR", or Rolling Thunder backwards, which friggin ROCKED. Do they still run it backwards like that?
With this one, just looking at the pictures, the sheer height of it makes my stomach hurt. I guess the alure of it is how unsafe and insane something that high looks. | StaggerLee
