Anyone know if the MTV Jackass cast-mates are friends?

MTV produced two spin-off shows one featuring Steve-O, and Chris "Party Boy" Pontaous, the other featuring most everyone else, and Johnny Knoxville did cameos on both. Wee-Man has some video game show, and Preston (fat guy) is no where to be found.

It seemed like when Knoxville did his Viva La Bam show Bam was genuinely surprised to see him, mentioning that he had not talked to him in over a year. Knoxville's visit on the Wild Boys seemed more relaxed and comfortable for all participates.

So I was wondering if anyone has heard about the Jackass crew's ability to get along.

Knoxville might have been busy with his budding movie career.

All I know is that the "Viva La Bam" crew have been hanging out together pre-Jackass. Many of their stunts were packaged in a series of DVDs under the cKy name. (cKy, or Camp Kill Yourself, is a band that features Bam's brother Jess.)

Some of the stunts featured on Jackass are recycled cKy clips, in fact. One in particular was the segment where the West Chester boys set up Bam's lawn so his father would fall into a pit trap while mowing it. When this segment was ported to Jackass, the original theme song "See You In Hell" by Grim Reaper was changed to a more modern punk track.

Not only that, but I'm fairly certain I saw the shopping-carts-into-curbs segment on CKY2K, as well. Same soundtrack and everything.

Minor quibble: They were tapes first, then put out on DVD. Now out of print, for there were legal issues, but they've made a couple of mixtapes of stuff from all four tapes and put it out on DVD (which I won't buy... I'll hunt for the original box set).
