24 DAY 4 SEASON PREMIERE THIS SUNDAY! Remember guys, Season 4 kicks off January 9th, this Sunday with 2 hours. And then another 2 hours on the Monday the following night! After that, new 1 hour episodes will continually be shown on Monday. Needless to say with New Year's Revolution's card looking pretty medicore, and the state that the Raw and WWE has been in lately...I probably won't feel too bad about skipping them for a bit.

To add some discussion in Muslim Americans have already shown discontent over the new season:

Well, someone should've shown them season 2 where it turned out the real bad guys were WHITE.

Anyway, I'm really looking forward to the new season and cast, despite the loss of a lot of characters and actors that I liked. Though I suppose the potential for guest appearances remains. Keeler is the President now, so that could be a good source of tension for Jack Bauer considering Keeler's sort of antagonistic presence in season 3.

With a title like that, I was sure it was going to be the season premiere of "Carnivale." My wife and I are through the first eight episodes of Season 1. We have four more to go and then we need to find someone to tape the Season 2 shows for us, since we don't get HBO. I am not sure I can wait to see Season 2, but HBO costs $12 a month and I don't want to pay that much to watch one series.

Does anyone know if HBO runs marathons for a particular show after the season is complete - that is, could I see all the episodes in one sitting/taping?

I was going to mention Carnivale too, Pieman.

HBO used to do full marathons, but more recently they tend to run mini-marathons every 4 or 5 episodes or so. Full marathons have fallen by the wayside with the growing popularity of HBO OnDemand, where you can watch any episode you want whenever you want.

I might just be willing to do the taping for you. PM me if you can't find someone closer to you to do it.

Oh, fine. The rest of us have had to suffer for over a year with the "You're leaving us, at this point, for interminable months?!?!?!" at the end of the last episode. And you're just going to cruise right into next season. :-)

Fortunately, both the stupid WWE PPV & Carinvale are rerun lots, so it'll be a coin toss which one I do first.

New Carnivale on Sunday! Yeaaaa!

And, what Schippe said.

24, definately. Funny Story. With all of the promos that have been running on FOX lately for the new season, I subconciously thought it started on Sunday, January 2. So when I turned on the TV Sunday night, and 24 was nowhere to be found, I was a dissapointed man.

Thank you to both SchippeWreck and Emma for volunteering to tape episodes for us. We finished watching Season 1 on Thursday and now cannot wait until we see Season 2. I don't know how you folks that watched this in real time have dealt with waiting this long to find about Sofie and Jonesy and the rest of the freaks. Anyhow, I just ordered HBO and in a couple hours, we'll watch Season 2, Episode 1. Thanks again!

The best part was when Jack Bauer fell to the ground clutching his knee....oh wait, that was the PPV.

Pretty cool way to start the season. It still feels weird that Jack and Chloe are the only familiar faces. Maybe if the producers wanted to really mess with our heads, they'll hook those two crazy kids up by the end of the season. That would be the most violent and anti-social kid of all time.
