I just recently started using Opera as my main browser. I noticed a funny thing at good ol' Wienerville, when using this particular browser. The fancy rotating Wienerville logo that turns at a nice leisurely pace when viewed with IE, spins like crazy with Opera. Just a little pointless fact.

Any computer savvy guys out there know why that would happen?

I think the standards for "animated GIFs" - well, aren't really standard. I have the same differences between running Netscape on my UNIX box and running iCab at home on my Mac - differing ideas of framerate and what not.

I keep meaning to change the logo again but I've got the hots for this one - it's so SEXXXXXXY.

For me, it runs about the same in IE 5.5 and in Opera. Weird.

Right now I am using Opera 5.12. Is that the same version you are using? Maybe that matters, I don't know. I bow to the better computer knowledge that most people have here over me. Also, I can't see the avatars or signature pics, even with the graphics turned on. Oh well, still fast as shit.

Odd, you should be able to see the avatars and sig pics. Are you logged in? If you are not, you might be seeing the default "guest" options, which are to not include the pictures.

I am in Opera 6.0, unregistered version.
