I don't think the writer had a clue that Paul Michael Levesque=Triple H. | Teppan-Yaki

I totally agree with this. I think The Rock rules, but he just doesn't come off as the He-Man/Prince Adam type. It has nothing to do whatsoever with his appearance, it has to do with the vibe he exudes.
As far as the case with Triple H, I had the chance to see his appearance on Conan O'Brian recently, and I was genuinely surprised. He came across very well and seemed to be a really amiable guy. The audience also seemed to be really into the interview and Trips didn't come across like a stiff. This could translate well on the big screen.
Plus, if he *DID* get the role of He-Man, it would be a great opportunity for him to demonstrate diverse acting abilities. We know he can be the intense ultra-evil guy with no compassion and the arrogant jerk. The roles he's played in WWE over the years demonstrate that. But, in my opinion, he ALSO has a gift of great comic timing. His skits with Mick Foley in 2000 were a great example of that. If he could show the ability to do drama, play the action hero, and use some of his untapped comedy skills in the Prince Adam alter-ego role, Triple H would be an EXCELLENT He-Man. | Jackson
