"I guess Flair is right. To be the man, you have to beat the man. Is that why he sucker punched Mick? The dirtiest player in the game was trying to be the man so he wanted to beat the man. I say Foley is the man because he found his niche outside the business. He does not have to have shitty matches such as Saggy Boy and Kink. Foley writes books. His books have out sold all the wrestling books written to this day. His books aren't about his bragging rights of being the man or being the Kink."
(I presume I've posted this right...or atleast I tried to.)
I agree with some Honky's points, though I'm not sure where exactly the issues between he and Flair began(he mentions Flair dissing him in the book, but it obviously seems to go back further). Can anyone specify? I'm sure some will disagree with him..I'm curious to see your opinions. Promote this thread! | | BigVitoMark

I have no idea where this one comes from specifically; it may just stem from the fact that Flair is still a featured player making good money and Honky is judging mud wrestling at strip clubs (there may still even be pics of this on his website). I like HTM, but he comes across as bitter for the sake of bitter more often than not. | BigSteve

Mick Foley: Great wrestler who found success outside of wrestling.
Ric Flair: Great wrestler who hasn't found as much mainstream success, at least according to the Honky Tonk Man. But he is a best selling author.
Honky Tonk Man: Bad wrestler who hasn't done anything of note in wrestling in fifteen years. Hasn't done anything of note outside of it either. Not a best selling author. Possibly very bitter about these facts.
