I enjoyed it quite a bit; I though it was a lot better than Victory Road.
Williams / Sabin was a lot of fun; lame (brass knucks) ending, though. Williams should have used the knucks and THEN hit the Canadian Destroyer on a near-unconscious Sabin and then spent the next month bragging about how Sabin's counter didn't work after all. Really fun match anyway.
Nash/Hall/Jarrett vs Styles/Hardy/SAvage was pretty, um, pretty bad. The worst part was Savage being absent for nearly the whole tihng, running in at the end, rolling up JJ for the pin, and having Tenay and West gush over how amazing he is, how he beat the champ, how he should get a title shot. Styles worked almost THE WHOLE MATCH!
The cage match -- WOW. I thought Elix was going to DIE when he TIGHTROPE WALKED the top of the cage and rana'd Harris off. Seriously. I thought he was simply going to plunge to his death. Easily in my personal top five matches this year.
Most of the rest of the card was alright, too, especially Monty Brown vs. Abyss. Worst match was, unsuprisingly, Gilberti & Swinger vs. Kenney and Badd...with Jacqueline reffing. Yup.
They DID show the footage of the WWE/TNA meet-n-greet, but blurred out all the WWE guys' faces.
Good show.

Thank god they didn't go with the six-man last. Since AMW/XXX was a cage match I knew they'd go either first or last (to accomodate for setting up/tearing down the cage), and I'm glad they picked the latter.
Sounds good, but TNA REALLY needs to do something with their main event scene. I know nothing will ever be done about Jarrett since TNA's whole deal has been to be a launching pad for Jeff. However, they NEED to get Hardy and the old guys out of there. TNA's got plenty of talent, but their main-events certainly could lead people to think differently. | LotusMegami

3LK vs. Team Canada - Decent match, lame ending.
Kash, Team Menage Trois vs. Dutt, Garza, and Siaki - Impressive action, too many people involved, but it all worked.
Monty Brown vs. Abyss - Very impressive, hardcore match. Abyss is one tough mother. No complaints.
Kenney and Badd vs. Gilberti and Swinger - The match was there. That's pretty much all I can say about it.
Petey vs. Sabin - awesome match, lame ending. These two have excellent chemistry. But the ending was lame.
The Next Match After That - Bad. Really bad. AJ Styles saved the entire arena from the black hole of suck that would have been created in his absence.
AMW vs. XX - Wow. That was brutal. I was legitimately afraid at some points. These guys really went high-risk and it paid off.
WWE Controversy Thing - Dumb. But I have to appreciate the smartass sense of humor.

I really do not wanna see Savage headline a PPV, challenging for the NWA title.
And you almost have to feel sorry for Raven. He's almost the company's big name jobber (see WWE & Kane). He has to job to a returning DDP AND get mixed up in a possible storyline with Erik Watts.

I'd prefer to see Daniels maintain a heel run towards the TNA Heavyweight championship. His solo run in ROH was amazing, and he works great with Styles...now we just have to get Macho, the Outsiders, and the rest of the old farts out of the way.
Agreed on the Raven part. After hearing a few of his shoot interviews, I don't know how he can sit by and let this crap happen to him.

I did happen to see TNA's show last night. The match with Sabin and the oh, so adorable Petey Williams was more exciting than the last six months of WWE combined. No, I'm serious. The only other kind of wrestling that made me that pumped is of course my burgeoning joshi library. Don't worry, there's the eventual Keiji Muto comp coming to my house.
Yeah, Vince is one paranoid old crone. That segment was really funny, especially the sight of Abyss carrying those balloons, hahaha. Ranks up there with Kane on a scooter in my opinion. Obviously I've been out of the TNA loop for a bit, so can someone please tell me that the whole "Kings of Wrestling" thing is just a dream. I really didn't see Scott Hall and Kevin Nash do the Honky Tonk Man, did I?
Let's see. I already know about Jacqueline and the Macho Man (who looks like a cross between the Warlord and Ox Baker these days), but DDP? I thought he said he reti.....oh, right. Vince is suing over cookies and muffins?! He usually doesn't resist cookies, and especially muffins. The old goober's losing it! Not a bad PPV even with the old folks, and big ups to the cage match and the great Petey Williams (and Sabin was good too). | The Vile1

If you guys look at WWF/E history, they never had a problem pulling stunts like the one in question now.
Is there a video of the footage online at all?

I think Hall and Nash could use a little credit, they did better than i would have expected. Whatever was up with the whole Savage situation was pretty dumb, but oh well I kinda like the sound of Macho Man Randy Savage vs. Jeff Jarrett at Final Resolution. DDP looked to be pretty fired up, but throwing Watt's into this storyline really is a big mistake.
Overall a decent show, glad I ordered it. Looking forward to the next ppv | The Vile1

Randy Savage was sent home by TNA this afternoon after a meeting where Savage requested that he win the NWA championship from Jeff Jarrett at the 1/15/05 Final Resolution PPV. TNA officials quickly told Savage that wasn’t in the cards for their plans and sent him home from the taping. There is always a chance he may be back down the line, but the PPV match is now off the books. No word yet on who Jarrett’s opponent will be at the next PPV event.
This might be the best move TNA's made all year long. Jarrett's opponent at the PPV NEEDS to be Monty Brown. | OMEGA

I hope that they don't invite Savage back for the PPV because, as I said earlier, they need to get fresh faces in the main-events and not clutter them with guys from the past. | Karlos the Jackal

Petey *is* cute, isn't he?
I agree Monty Brown is ready.
Somebody needs to do something about the interference. That could be an angle all by itself - you want to get involved in a match, ok, you can have a match all to yourself. Plenty of people who'd like the get their hands on D'Amore. Or surround the ring with Black Shirt Security. Let Chris Vaughn go apeshit on somebody, that's fun to see.
In extreme cases there is always the gimmick match where everyone is handcuffed to their respective worst enemies around the ring. Have security search around the ring and remove half a dozen hidden guitars.
At least then we might see some more clever cheating.

TNA used to be about workrate, and they still have those guys on the roster, just incredibly hampered and watered-down by TV time limits. Jarrett is a good enough worker to sell these guys' offense, but Monty doesn't do anything outside of punch, some sort of slam, and the Pounce. Spread that over 14 minutes, and you'll see a lot of Jarrett doing sleepers, brawling in the crowd, and random interference. Doesn't sound great to me. | Mayhem
