Lots of continuity (the Aztec Tomb, Egg/Ann, Barry's love of young girls, the open marriage, the Cornballer, "Final Countdown" as GOB theme song, Buster's parentage, Saddam references, "I've made a huge mistake", etc) and much more. Possibly the strongest episode of the season (so far).
Simpsons was pretty good, too.

Did anyone find it weird how on the last episode (two weeks ago), the preview for the next AD had Gene Parmesan posing as a doctor and announcing that Tobias had died, and that Buster caught Lucille and Oscar having sex on his giant hand chair?
This happened with an episode in season one, when they previewed stuff that was never in any episode...
And what happened to Annyong? I feel like I missed an episode. | TheMASKEDComputerGeek

Er....you're joking right? He never said Tobias was dead, the "Next time on..." NEVER happens in the next episodes, and Annyong just didn't have a part in these episodes I'd wager. | Roy.

I always thought it was brilliant humor. The show sets itself up so much like a "conventional" show, and then knocks that whole idea on it's ass. The whole "On the next AD" stuff always cracks me up. It reminds me of the old "Police Squad!" episodes where the guest stars would die in the opening credits and the spoken title never matched the written title. | whatever

The spider hole, "No treats for Pop-pop, I just bought you a f'n pizza!", the coffin trick gone horribly wrong, the "SLUT" shirt, and so much more. And especially the "Next Week" preview - "Buster deals with the death of Captain Kangaroo".
Awesomely awesome though - GOB and the stripper clothes. Fantastic show!

Uh, I've got some bad news. I'm...
Gene Parmesan. How you doing?
Baha that will never get old. Any, anyhoo, the gag is that On The Next Arrested Development never appears on the next Arrested Development, with the exception of the Julia Louis-Dreyfuss two-parter.
"And what happened to Annyong? I feel like I missed an episode."
He doesn't have much of a role this year, now that he no longer says Annyong.
I liked this episode a lot, although not as much as last week's Amigos. The Anne Frank joke was one of their all-time best, and this may have been the most wicked performance from the great Michael Cera to date.
Heaven.
The entire Peanuts motif (Good Grief, moping walk, etc.) was their best overarching theme since Take Your Daughter To Work Day. Meanwhile, Tony Wonder asks, "Am I Ben Stiller? Am I going to appear in the future as GOB's rival?" | Super Shane Spear

Mind you, the episode, like every one before it, was balls out awesome, but the "moping around" joke would have worked better if they'd cut on Tobias's outburst and not done the mope for him. It seemed like too many crammed in such a small space. GOB's at the end, however, has to stay.

I thought his was best because it was the most unwarranted mope and I believe they held on it for an uncomfortably long time. To each their own, though. | Brian P. Dermody
