Nice to see WWE doing stuff like that. I'll never forget a Confidential piece on 'the world's oldest wrestling fan' where they had The Rock give a speech (via tape) at the woman's birthday. I don't remember how old she was, but I believe it was somewhere around 100.

Thinking about that...John Tenta posted a message on the Official Wrestlecrap forums about how Triple H was a perfect gentleman to him and his family when he and his wife caught a house show...; further information can be found here (EZboard).

Seems, while we may all hate Trips for his backstage politics and for banging the bosses' daughter to keep the title, he is indeed a good guy.

The WWE has always been a host, of sorts, to charity work and making wishes come true. When it comes right down to it with out the wrestling politics, "gimmick", or lights and show they are pretty average people. Trips sitting there with a 94 year old wrestling Grandmother almost brings a tear to my eye and makes me want to forgive him for all the stuff he's done "negatively" in the business.

Nice story, but I do find it funny that HHH gave a 94-year old woman his bodybuilding book... Infomercial king Jay Kordich "The Juiceman" has nothing on her, *insert your Juiceman joke here concerning this story* lol... I'll be nice, HHH hair looks fabulous that morning.

I thought this thread was about Hunter developing some sort of heart condition. Silly me.

No joke, remembering Curt Henning and Brian Pillman, I clicked on this thread thinking the same thing.

My mom has a friend in her sixties who loves wrestling too. I wonder why the senior ladies dig it so much?

In Triple H's defense, it's the only book he's worked on, and there are lots of personal anecdotes from his life. I looked at it at my last shift at BN to see if a 94 year old woman would be remotely interested in it.

"Triple H presented Chacon with an autographed copy of his book (Triple H Making the Game : Triple H's Approach to a Better Body, by Robert Caprio, World Wrestling Entertainment, August, 2004). But he also had a special gift: four tickets to a special WWE show in Philadelphia Saturday evening."

"Triple H also has his first film coming out on Dec. 8, "Blade: Trinity," starring Wesley Snipes and Kris Kristofferson."

Surely the above has NOTHING to do with Triple H being the one to greet this wrestling fan!
whatever
