My review of the first ever SpongeBob SquarePants movie. Long and short of it, the movie was fantastic and well above most other animated pictures this year save for The Incredibles and Innocence. 2-D animation lives and is still valid and this movie proves it.
If you are not a fan of the series, I still recommend it because its just that good. Its entertaining, the humor is wacky but it works. Adults can like this just as much as kid.
So this weekend: live, breath, and eat SPONGE!

Reposted on: 19.11.11 0659.01 | I bet a lot of parents going into this movie expecting stuff "just for the kids" will be shocked at some of the flat-out crazy shit that gets snuck in here ... Nothing IN YOUR FACE like (say) the "South Park" movie, but pay attention and you'll catch it.
