You remember when Rock brought Vince, HHH, Big Show (who was HILARIOUS) and Foley with him the first time?

I don't see Rock going alone here either? Granted I'd love to see another Clark Kent, Goombahs or Nicotrel skit but still.

Still if Rock has company for this SNL episode on the 13th - I elect he bring the three funniest guys in the WWF right now:

Kurt Angle, Booker T and Kane.

Hell - have Hogan come along too - didn't he host SNL back in the day himself?

After last weeks SmackDown, Kane sounds like a great idea. Angle sounds pretty good too, but I dont think Hogan or Booker T should go. Maybe one of the Diva (STACY!!) should go...that would raise the ratings!

What about The Big Show? THe guy's funny & does some great impressions! Him and Kane should do dueling Hulkster impressions. And yeah, take Stacy along too, you can NEVER have enough gratuitous camel-toe shots!

Since Foley will not be there..... how about just use Kane, HHH, and the Big Show? (with Stacy... which would be niiiiiiice). I believe Kane and the Big Show would be extremely funny and HHH will most likely be there because he is the current champion.

What's with all this "Kane's hilarious" stuff? He had one funny skit, which was only funny because it was so out of character for him. That doesn't mean he should take the show on to Network TV. I mean, what are you going to do with Kane, have him come out in full regalia and do Hulk Hogan imitations because we found it funny last week? I really don't think that'd fly with the crowd.

I'd vote for Angle, Booker, and HHH. HHH because you kind of need a name and a champ, but Angle and Booker because they have that ability to be consistently funny, especially in that "shooting, but still kind of in-character" way that most WWFers (especially the Rock) have when they go on talk shows or whatever.

EDIT: Come to think of it, for some reason Rob Van Dam strikes me as someone who would be a good supporting character for the Rock's stint on SNL. I'm not quite sure why though.

I think he would get himself over more as a celebrity if he didn't bring anyone. I mean, other SNL guests don't bring guests with them.

Also, wrestling isn't as big now as it was when Rock first appeared on the show, so I don't know if it would be as successful to bring other wrestlers.

I agree, one interview does not make a funny person, besides I thought the best part of the whole thing was The Rock doing the Kamala impression and then his face when he said "Kanenites?". Just doing Hulk Hogan poses doesn't make a funny interview, if it did, then I could be in the WWF.

I think the 3 guests was fine last time because the four men would be meeting in the main event of Wrestlemania a week later. Now, I say Rock should just go solo.

He should bring in ex-XFL players like HE Hate Me and To Da House, and Tommy Maddex. I'm sure SNL will love to see who the bumped J-LO for.

If you are going to have continuity with the brand extension then I would bring HHH, Angle, and Dawn Marie.

Hey, wait a minute, is that 100?

YES!!!!

Yeah, Hogan hosted the show (along with Mr. T) the night before WrestleMania I. Some pretty funny stuff, too. The show opened with Billy Crystal playing Prince, doing a We Are The World parody. Hogan and T played Prince's body guards and beat up other musicians like Willie Nelson, Cyndi Lauper, and Bruce Springsteen. (For background, Prince missed We Are The World because he was bailing his bodyguard out of jail.) Also, Hogan and T guested on an episode of Fernando's Hideaway.

Would they risk bringing Hogan? Because of his mainstream recognition, he might get a nostalgia pop bigger than The Rock's.

"Who should The Rock bring with him to SNL?"

IT DOESN'T MATTER WHO...

Uh, Eddie? Shut up.

...OK.

If I can be serious for a minute. Dudes, I can't believe you can say that Kane isn't hilarious. Maybe it's true what they say about most wrestling fans having a very short-term memory. Rent a copy of Royal Rumble 2001 to see what I mean.

And you can get it right here at Blockbuster! Bringing entertainment home.

Damn, I'm on vacation, and I'm still shilling for my damn company. Anyway... there's also the example of Kane doing the "Whassup!" headbutt while teaming with the Dudleyz-- the example that no one seems to remember but me. Now, I agree to a point that those examples are only hilarious because Kane's character is so far removed from such offbeat shenanigans. Perhaps that's another reason why Kane shouldn't lose the mask-- the mask kind of adds to that whole feeling of comedic strangeness.

But anyway. My point is, this kind of random mirth and hilarity has been going on with Kane for much, much more than just last week's interview, and a quick glance through a few CRZ recaps will confirm that much.

I am sure Hogan will have a skit on the show. Let's be honest, Hogan=mainstream ratings, so that is a no-brainer. Kane could be funny as hell in a skit if they have him doing ordinary, everyday things with that mask on. Little stuff like that works wonders in comedy. Trish and Rock could have a skit together to further the "love" angle that was dropped between the two. I actually wouldn't mind seeing Shane on there also.

I agree with Kurt and Booker T... they are just hilarious.. and I could see them being a big plus on the show.

Hmm... they should also have Mr.T on there as well.. they all could do an A team skit together..
