With NES games being reissued for that throwback GBA Advance, they probably don't want to make a NES adapter, but a N64 adapter might sell (especially with games like Goldeneye and Perfect Dark, sill perfect for bored college students with a free Saturday night and a 30 pack). N64 games are probably also still around in abundance compared to SNES and NES cartridges. | Guru Zim

My biggest worry is that they won't make it with a pass-through, because I'm not going to pull out my GBA adaptor in order to do this.
Well, that and I just bought an N64 so I'm not likely to buy this anyway.
This means that I need to scramble to pick up N64 titles before they release this... Ugh. | bubblesthechimp

But then Nintendo would have to start handing out licensing fees for N64 games that they no longer own the rights to (Goldeneye, Conker, No Mercy, Ogre Battle, Superman 64 ... ); if they released an adapter instead, then the users would be free to play any N64 game they want/already own/can get their hands on.

Wouldn't anyone with N64 games already own an N64, though? And would they have to start producing the cartridges again in order to make the adaptor worth having? | Whitebacon

I wonder how many people are going to kick themselves for taking $1 per game in trade if this comes out.

I would guess the benefit of getting an adapter if you already own a N64 would be not having to have two full systems connected to the TV and taking up space. | Alessandro

The reason this poll originally caught my eye, was that my brother JUST won an eBay auction for a factory-sealed copy of "Paper Mario" for the N64 a couple of days ago, so we had to go dust off the system and plug it back into our TV set (to make sure the game actually worked) ... If such an add-on device had been available for our GameCube already, we wouldn't have had to go through the trouble
