I thought the same thing. Didn't Mysterio win a Royal Rumble to be the number one conteder anyway? Did he ever get his title shot? If so, I completely missed it. But yeah, I think Rey is capable of being the US Title, and I think he deserves it too. I would also welcome a Haas title reign. And Chavo as well. | TheMikeSays

It freshens him up a bit, gives him a bit of extra attention with a girl at his side (sure, he's over, but not a 'consistent push' kind of over) and depending on if the girl has any personality or not, might lead to some funny sketches. For example, a pairing of laid-back RVD with hyper Christy Hemme would've been amusing, but she's on the wrong show. Which one was Michelle again? | Mayhem

Here's a reminder of the beauty that is Michelle. She was the chick that kicked ass in the Diva Dodgeball fiasco ...

There's a good stock of guys to draw an eight-man bracket from, too:
RVD Rey Mysterio Jesus Luther Reigns Charlie Haas Chavo Guerrero Billy Kidman Mark Jindrak Heidenreich Kenzo Suzuki Rene Dupree Hardcore Holly
Say you do Jesus (with a sling-wearing Carlito, natch) Vs. Haas and Hardcore Holly Vs. Reigns, then Reigns Vs. Haas for the final. Then you've got a tag title match (RVD/Rey Vs. Suzuki/Dupree), a grudge match (Chavo Vs. Kidman with a gimmick), a cruiserweight title match (Spike Vs. London) and a coupla others to make a pretty solid card. | Mayhem

Wow ... After seeing that typed out, it does look like a solid lineup. While I mentioned earlier that Rey should be given the US strap, I do like the idea of he & RVD as tag champs. Haas needs the US title to help get him over with people other than the IWC ... | Mild Mannered Madman
