I hate Barry Bonds.

Please Retire the day after you hit number 756.

Wouldn't you want him to retire before he hit 756?
This probably should have been Bonds 8th MVP, as he should have beat Pendleton in '91.
On the Giants, Vizquel at $4 million per for 3 years is a very good deal for them. I was hoping he was going to Boston, but I thought he was all but locked up for the South Side of Chicago. The 3rd year might hamstring the Giants slightly in the 2007 season, but Vizquel will give them a solid bat that can steal bases and a gold glove for a relatively decent price in '05. With the new ballpark and the improvement made this year, San Diego is going to have to at least be competitive in the free agent market to keep up with the Giants and Dodgers.

Well if you wanna count how many he really SHOULD have, it should be, like, his tenth.

Omar Vizquel is NOT the man you sign to hit behind Bonds. Not in any way.

He'll probably hit second behind Durham. Which will move that great slugger J.T. Snow either in front of or behind Bonds. The thing is, they have no place to play Pedro Feliz now.

They said something on sportscenter about Bonds being the only Hall of Famer to never play with another hall of famer (Unless Jeff Kent gets in). Odd stat, but just goes to show how he can put up numbers despite nobody being around him.

Omar Vizquel probably has a better chance of getting into the Hall than Kent does. But, yeah, that is kinda freaky.
