I trust no one, Stone Cold coined the phrase that should of been mine, but a woman like this proves it. She has a lot of wrestling qualities, Money Money Money, I think is the song.

Here now are the Top Ten cruel responses I could whip up to this post: 10. Exactly how many lists did you recite to her before she went nuts?
9. Don't worry, I'm heeding your advice and IMMEDIATELY cancelling my road trip to....Bristol, TN
8. So, exactly how much time passed between the moment you met her and the moment you shared with her your views on the evilness of women?
7. Geez, guy...what'd you do, eat her baby?
6. She probably broke it off because it drove her nuts to keep reading "should of" instead of "should have"
5. So wait... you're saying she's on the rebound?
4. "I trust no one..." so please enjoy reading my detailed life story - well, at least you left off your Social Security number
3. If her profile name is brokenwings523, does that make yours brokeass10?
2. Too bad you can't crosspost this to the OOForums

Originally posted by TopTenPro Why is there not a woman that wants to be loved as much as I want to love?
I could go on with the old "there's someone for everyone" clichee, or the classic "you'll find her when you're not looking"...much like my friends and family do when I'm single.
Singlehood sucks, I admit. Such is why I've worked so hard at the relationship I'm involved in. Sarah and I have lots to work at, but I do believe she's as close to being the perfect match for me as I'll ever get.
If, for any reason...she and I have been best friends for close to a decade.
Anyhow, a few tips I can suggest in meeting someone new:
1. Try looking in music stores. Years ago, I met a girl at a music shop in Calgary, and we ended up dating for almost a year. All because we shared the same musical interests (at the time).
2. Bookstores are always good. Often, there's a coffeeshop build into a bookstore (at least here in Canada there are) so perhaps that'll help.
3. Depending on how much you trust your friends, ask them to set you up.
4. Never say never to online matchmakers. I've met some folks on them, and while nothing really serious came of them, some good times were indeed had by all..er...well, both.
5. Very worst case scenario: You can always send away for one of those Russian brides :-D

As a long term investment, land in Nigeria is not that awful. If you can capitalize on the current instability to buy the land for pennies or less on the dollar, it could be extremely profitable. Should a stable government eventually come to power and with its vast oil reserves, a person could potentially make a fortune off of this investment. It would be extremely risky due to political unrest, but the payoff could be astronomical. Plus, its not like anyone is making any new land anytime soon. | Torchslasher

I disagree WHOLEHEARTEDLY. I've been on a good number of dates with women I'd met online, eitehr through messages on Matchdoctor, or perhaps those who have even IM'ed me out of the blue...and I've yet to have a bad experience. it's a twofold thing, really: you gotta get really, really comfortable with someone before getting together with them, and second: you gotta be CAREFUL.
I tend to avoid telephone dating services, if for any reasons, they're too expensive, and I don't like to talk. At least, not on the phone.

Yep, heartbreak is certainly a tough thing to get over. But this is a message board, not a support group (although it can be a very supportive place).
It's one thing to wear your heart on your sleeve, it's another to attach a neon sign describing your current emotional state.

Totally amateur psychoanalysis, but you asked for it:
You make it sound like you're having a hard time finding someone who you can "absorb" all the love you have to give. But what you're selling is probably not what you think you're selling; and you already know that nobody's buying.
My best advice is to figure out what makes you happy. If the best answer to that is, "making someone else happy," you're probably in for a rough ride. Making your happiness dependant on someone else's sounds nice, especially when you're willing to do whatever you can to keep that person happy. But eventually she'll figure it out and realize that's a lot of pressure on HER, not you.
So if you really like to help people and make them happy, there are plenty of occupations out there that will allow you to do that; you're just not likely to get love (or sex) in return. Otherwise it's probably best to have a look at yourself and really try to figure out what you love in life. Once you do that you stand a chance (although then you have to figure out how to balance life and love ).
A strong relationship is two whole people leading two whole lives that are complimentary; it's not two people together making one person or one life. | CRZ

Some people can use services such as this as a support group type thing.
Case in point: Way back when (December 2003) I was requested to attend a funeral with my then-girlfriend, Faith...and seeing as though I had never attended a funeral before nad was extremely nervous about that, I went to the people I trusted and knew could help me through - this board. The people who responded offered some great advice and thoughts (The W) concerning the subject matter, and I was thankful that people were so caring.

Just because he's from Tennessee doesn't mean he's too inept to grasp the English language. It's a good indication, yes, but it's by no means a definite thing.

Either way, warning people to "stay away" from her is sorta childish. Not like a ton of Ws are from Bristol, and are looking for dates.
Also, trying to hook up with girls you work with isnt exactly a recipe for a happy future most of the time. Especially when you are thier manager. If things dont go well, it only makes you look like a dick most of the time. I would try looking outside the workplace.
But, good luck in the future. (BTW, Church groups are always filled with single girls.)
