I've read numerous places that Jim Carrey flat out refuses to be in sequels. The only reason he did Ace Ventura: When Nature Calls was because he was contractually obligated.

All that money, and the best they could do for a female co-star is the girl from "Two Guys, a Girl and a Pizza Place?" I can't see this movie being good, nope, not at all. Seems like they are putting all their eggs in the CGI basket, but without Carrey playing the lead which just suited him so well I can't see this being any good.
