By doing this, Moore's probably costing himself some money, but (as far as I know) he leaves himself eligible for that Best Picture Oscar he's rumored to be shooting for. Either way, whether you agree with it or not, the effect of this movie is undeniable. Anyone who hasn't seen it should, just to see what everyone's talking about.

"PIRATE MY MOVIE!", says Michael Moore. (webuser.co.uk) According to said article, he doesn't agree with copywrite laws, and doesn't mind people sharing it on P2P networks.
That offers a good question: while it is his intellectual property (i.e. his creation) don't the distribution rights belong to Lions Gate, and henceforth have the right to sue the site, or anyone, regardless of what Moore says.
I want to see it, but seeing as though I'm on dial up, I'll just rent it on DVD or something.
